Fold-Down Sides with Stake Pockets

The Series 4000, Hybrid, and GII decks feature 6-inch folding side rails with inboard stake pockets. The side rails fold down for loading oversized equipment or materials, then raise to contain cargo during transport.

Inboard stake pockets provide multiple tie-down points for straps or chains without protruding above the deck surface. This positioning keeps securing points accessible while maintaining a flat loading surface when stakes aren’t in use.

Weatherproof Aluminum Storage

The Hybrid and Series 4000 beds include EDPM-sealed, lockable aluminum toolboxes and skirting. These storage compartments resist corrosion and weather intrusion, protecting tools and equipment from moisture damage.

Aluminum construction in high-exposure areas prevents the rust and rot common in steel skirted beds, extending deck life in applications involving road salt, moisture, or chemical exposure.

Recessed Gooseneck Ball Hitch

Each Hillsboro deck includes a 2 5/16-inch recessed 30K ball hitch that sits flush with the deck surface when not towing. The recessed design maintains a smooth, fully usable deck area rather than creating a permanent obstruction in the center of the hauling surface.

This configuration lets you switch between hauling materials and towing trailers without removing and storing a protruding ball mount.

Built-In Rear Receiver Hitch

The 25K-rated 2 1/2-inch receiver hitch provides conventional towing capability for bumper-pull trailers. An optional 2-inch reducer adapts the receiver for standard-sized hitches, covering both heavy-duty and light-duty towing applications.

Slide-In Tailgate System

The GII and Hybrid models include tailgate holders integrated into the side rails. Slide a 2×6 board into the holders at front and rear to create an enclosed deck surface that contains loose materials or smaller cargo items.

The Series 4000 offers this feature as an optional tailgate kit, providing flexibility based on your specific hauling requirements.
